COVID-19 Statement

COVID-19 statement from our Managing Director

As we all come to terms with change in our day-to-day personal and business lives due to COVID-19, I want to reassure you by outlining the steps we are taking to ensure the health and well-being of our people at work who partner with you, our suppliers and the workers they provide as well as our approach to business continuity.

To date, Comensura and our parent company Impellam Group have been closely following and adhering to regional government and local health authority guidance in our key geographies in the UK and Ireland, US, Europe and Australasia.

We have now; activated our Business Continuity processes and procedures; created local resources for our people; published a COVID-19 statement on Impellam.com which outlines the action we have taken thus far; put a contingency plan in place and we have mobilised an Incident Management Team which our Group CEO, Julia Robertson leads every day to review the situation and agree any changes to our plans.

What does this mean for our service to you?

Comensura is fully operational, prepared and ready to support our customers and suppliers through this difficult time. As the Managed Service Provider, we’re here to co-ordinate and facilitate around your workforce requirements. By working together, we strongly believe we can mitigate against whatever situations arise.

The actions we are taking support our people to stay healthy and safe so they can continue to partner with you and our suppliers and the workers they provide. Like many companies, for some time now we have encouraged home-working where appropriate. Our robust infrastructure and digital capacity; in conjunction with our global communication and collaboration platform means Comensura people can continue to work together and access our systems in service of our customers and suppliers, from wherever they are in the UK.

For our customers and suppliers, our proprietary cloud-based c.net platform continues to allow you to procure, order, select and pay for the contingent and permanent workforce you require. To support the increasing levels of home-based work, please be aware that you can now request video interviews via c.net. There is also the facility for customers to upload videos outlining their job requirements, and for agencies to submit video profiles. Watch this video for more information.

As I am sure you can appreciate the safety of all temporary and contractor workers at customer sites is of paramount importance. We have been working with our supplier community to ensure they stay in contact with their employees. We have supported this with a leaflet to all suppliers to make sure they are aware of how to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and know what to do and where to go if they have concerns. This leaflet can be viewed on our website.

We will continue to partner with you through the coming weeks, as we endeavour to navigate the constraints of a fast-moving landscape, to deliver our service to you without disruption. We also understand that you may need extra, or different, support in the coming weeks, and we encourage you to get in touch with us for help.

If you would like more information about our response to COVID-19, please do contact our 24/7 Customer Service Centre.

Yours sincerely

Hoa Ngo
