The customer is a communications infrastructure and media services company operating at the heart of the broadcast, satellite and mobile communications markets. The company is at the forefront of network solutions and services in the digital world.
Prior to Comensura’s appointment, the customer used a total of 22 contracted and a number of non-contracted recruitment suppliers for around 70% of their contingent workforce requirements. The remaining 30% of workers were engaged directly as referrals.
As part of our implementation process we agreed terms with 95% of the customer’s existing agency suppliers, and transferred its direct contractor workforce onto our payroll service. We provide a dedicated Resourcing Partner who acts as sole point of contact for new orders.
We’ve helped the customer achieve supplier margin savings, reduce average pay rate costs from $1000 to $780 per day and standardise margin rates and payroll costs. Based on our successful performance, the customer has awarded us a new long term contract, and we have extended the service to include the management of consultants and freelance media services professionals and to provide a pre-employment, governance and compliance service too.
