Vendor neutral managed services for Hume City Council

We are delighted to welcome onboard Hume City Council, the latest customer to join the Comensura family as we go live today with our adaptive vendor neutral managed service.

In late July 2018, Hume City Council led the Northern Regional Group of Councils through a tender process to provide Neutral Vendor Managed Services for the provision of Temporary Labour.

I am delighted to say that Comensura was the successful awardee of that tender and Hume are the first council to initiate the service offered under Contract #30 18 2882.

Hume City Council is one of Australia’s fastest growing and culturally diverse communities. A place called home by more than 198,000 residents from over 160 different countries.

Hume has a vision to be recognized as a leader in achieving social, environmental and economic outcomes with a common goal of connecting its proud community through its vision, leadership, excellence and inclusion.

Comensura’s market leading vendor management program will support that vision by migrating its entire temporary staffing portfolio to our managed service model.  In tandem with council, Comensura has been working with Hume’s key internal stakeholders to deliver last week’s launch. This project has been a true partnership between the Council, its supply chain and Comensura, who is now on its 11th year of delivering flexible workforce solutions to state and local government in Australia.

Comensura is the leading provider of vendor neutral managed services to local government in Australia; we manage the supply of contingent labour to over 40 local government organisations across four states. As well as that, we deliver service at state government level through the New South Wales Procurement 0007/0008 Framework.

Technology and innovation are pivotal to the Comensura model and our market leading cloud based portal, c.net, will lead become the source of truth for all temporary staffing engagements at Hume.

Our c.net platform captures all transactional processes, from placing an order through to online time-sheeting and consolidated invoicing. This innovative approach will improve governance and compliance in this complex procurement category whilst at the same time delivering a higher degree of efficiency and visibility to the organisation.

Mark Coyle, Impellam APAC CEO said “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Hume City Council to the Comensura family. This is a significant account for us as it helps underpin our wide reach in Victoria. As an influential council, working with Hume will help strengthen our position as the leading provider of Neutral Vendor Managed Services to local government across Australia. We are delighted to be working in partnership with such a key council and look forward to achieving positive outcomes throughout the life of our program”
