Comensura at 20: The journey so far

When we launched Comensura back in 2001, it was with one goal in mind: to deliver a smarter way to work for businesses with complex contingent, permanent and services procurement needs. Today, we’re delighted to be celebrating 20 years of achieving that aim.

Comensura at 20: the journey so far

After spotting the need for a viable alternative to traditional master vendor staffing solutions, Comensura was founded in 2001 on robust procurement, procure to pay, supply chain management, and contract management principles.

Following steady growth in the early noughties, when we established ourselves as the managed service provider of choice for UK local government, 2006 brought an exciting milestone: our expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.

Fast-forward 10 years and, with increasing numbers of private sector customers complementing our continued public sector growth, 2016 saw us arrive at another significant moment: the launch of c.net5, the most powerful version to date of our proprietary vendor management system.

Today, more than 120 customers, from councils to global corporations, trust us to manage over £700m in contingent and permanent labour and statement of work services procurement spend.
