Comensura joins NEPO at LGPE 2026 this November

Local government spends £79.3 billion a year, and that money is spread across thousands of contracts, suppliers and frameworks. For buyers, that means that finding the right route to market is a job in itself.

That is just one of the topics on the agenda on 26th November when LGPE returns to the Novotel London. The event brings together procurement leaders, public-sector buyers, and suppliers together to share ideas, build skills, and explore the services available to them. Comensura are looking forward to joining NEPO in their Collab Zone on Stand 28B.

NEPO - the North East Procurement Organisation - has been governed by 12 North East local authorities since 1976. Its frameworks support buyers across areas such as construction, energy, professional services and corporate services, and ICT. They are also available to contracting authorities across the UK through associate membership.

Comensura delivers the NEPO Agency Staff Framework, acting as a vendor neutral Managed Service Provider for temporary labour. Its technology and services give councils more visibility and control over contingent workforce spend, with compliance checks and reporting built into the framework.

With NEPO and Comensura in one place at LGPE 2026, buyers can see how a compliant framework, tight control of low-value spend, and a managed agency staff service fit together.

Carl Telford, Professional Services Lead, at NEPO said: “Dialogue is important in helping buyers understand how a solution works in practice. Having Comensura alongside us gives visitors the opportunity to speak directly with the people delivering the service, discuss their challenges and understand how the framework can deliver operational value day to day."

Aaron Wawman from Comensura added: “Councils are under pressure to show where every pound of agency spend is going. To do that they need access to data in real time. The NEPO framework gives them a compliant way to buy, and our tech builds on that and helps them to see what they are spending, where they are spending it, and where they need to be stepping in to make changes.”

Visitors to Stand 28 can find out more about how to register as an associate member, explore live framework routes and speak to all the experts in a single visit.

LGPE takes place on 26 November at the Novotel London. Comensura will be on Stand 28B in the NEPO Collab Zone.
