Comensura wins expanded partnership with NSW Government Stronger Communities Cluster

Leading provider of Vendor Neutral Managed Services to state and local governments in Australia wins contract with NSW Government Stronger Communities Cluster.

Under the new agreement, Comensura will manage the Cluster’s relationships with contingent workforce suppliers, helping Stronger Communities attract highly skilled candidates and boost diversity. It will also provide the Cluster with visibility, governance and risk mitigation strategies.

Stronger Communities brings together the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) with many other agencies from the former Family and Community Services and Justice clusters. DCJ, along with Cluster agencies including NSW Trustee and Guardian are already using the solution.

“The new deal means managers across the Cluster can get the right short-term expertise, when and where they need it,” said Comensura Director Kelly-Ann Lynch. “One integrated system will simplify the contractor recruitment process and help agencies in Stronger Communities to tap into a diverse range of suppliers.”

Having worked with the former Justice Cluster since 2016, Comensura promotes corporate social responsible procurement. This enables the Stronger Communities Cluster to support small and medium enterprises and Aboriginal-owned businesses, increasing the diversity as part of a diverse recruitment supply chain.

“Comensura's appointment as the MSP for the Stronger Communities cluster is testament to the partnering approach our team has demonstrated during the five-year relationship held with the former Department of Justice. We are aligned to their drive for social outcomes through the procurement of people. Comensura is excited to embark on this next stage and expanded delivery of support to meet the cluster objectives.”

"We opted to retain our people, where possible, and compromise our profitability in order to come out of COVID-19 stronger and with the ability to respond to our customers as we're now seeing the volumes returning to pre-COVID levels" according to Impellam Group Asia Pacific (Comensura’s parent company) CEO, Mark Coyle.
