Empowering Councils and Healthcare in Australia

As 2025 draws to a close, I’m filled with immense pride reflecting on what Comensura and our wider group have achieved this year. It’s been a period of innovation, recognition, and  meaningful progress, not just for our business, but for our clients, partners, and the communities we serve.

Supporting Councils Across Australia: Growth and Continuous Improvement

In 2025, Comensura is proud to be partnering with over 50 local government councils across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. Our reach extends from major metropolitan areas to regional and remote communities, ensuring that councils of all sizes benefit from our vendor-neutral MSP model and proprietary c.net technology. Over the past year, we have enhanced our service delivery through tailored account management, expanded supplier networks, and the introduction of new analytics capabilities within c.net. These improvements have enabled councils to achieve greater visibility over workforce spend, streamline recruitment processes, and realise measurable cost savings. Our commitment to continuous improvement means we regularly review performance, gather feedback, and invest in technology upgrades, ensuring our council partners remain at the forefront of workforce management best practice.

Driving Innovation in Vendor Management

Throughout the year we took significant steps forward in enhancing our proprietary Vendor Management System, c.net. We introduced advanced analytics and reporting, giving our clients real-time visibility into supplier performance and workforce trends. We also strengthened integration with HR and procurement systems, streamlining the entire procure-to-pay process and improving compliance and control.

Our enhancements didn’t stop there. We added functionality to support urgent role fulfilment and payroll management, ensuring faster, more efficient hiring. We continued to champion inclusive recruitment by expanding access to a diverse supplier network, including SMEs, Indigenous-owned businesses, and disability-confident recruiters. These developments reflect our commitment to delivering smarter, scalable solutions that help organisations manage contingent workforces with confidence and ease.

Supporting Healthcare Workforce Needs

In healthcare, our Evo platform has become the backbone for locum recruitment across NSW Health. Evo has now been implemented in all 15 Local Health Districts (LHDs) and two Health Networks across New South Wales, delivering immediate cost savings as well as a standardised and more efficient locum hiring process.  This expansion means more healthcare providers can access a compliant, efficient, and data-driven solution for hiring locum staff, ultimately benefiting patients and communities across the state.

APSCo Awards: Celebrating Excellence

One of the year’s highlights was being shortlisted for two prestigious APSCo Awards for Excellence: MSP of the Year and the Technology & Automation Excellence Award for our proprietary Vendor Management System, c.net. These nominations are a testament to the dedication of our team and the transformative impact of our technology on workforce management across Australia.

Our vendor-neutral MSP model, powered by c.net, continues to set new benchmarks for efficiency, compliance, and transparency. With c.net, our clients benefit from streamlined procurement, real-time analytics, and measurable cost savings, on average, 5.8% per customer. The platform now manages over $230 million in contingent labour spend, supporting more than 4,500 active workers and 260+ recruitment suppliers. Feedback from clients has been overwhelmingly positive, with 85% of hiring managers rating c.net as “easy” or “very easy” to use. Our APSCo celebrations were made even sweeter by the success of our sister company, Guidant Global, which took home the MSP of the Year award this year. As part of the Impellam Group, we share a commitment to delivering innovative, compliant, and people-centric workforce solutions. Guidant’s win is a reflection of the shared values and collaborative spirit that drive both our organisations forward.

Looking Ahead: Workforce Management in 2026

As we look to 2026, the workforce management industry is evolving rapidly. The focus is shifting from simply filling roles to enabling rapid access to quality talent, leveraging data for strategic decision-making, and driving cost savings. Organisations are rethinking how they engage talent. Traditional contingent recruitment is no longer the sole option; businesses are increasingly turning to Statement of Work (SOW) solutions and Direct Sourcing to secure specialised skills and drive outcomes. These approaches can offer greater flexibility, cost efficiency, and control, enabling companies to align talent strategies with project-based needs and long-term objectives.

At Comensura, we’re committed to staying ahead of these trends, continuously enhancing our technology, deepening our supplier partnerships, and empowering our clients with actionable insights.

Our mission remains clear: to simplify workforce acquisition and management with smart technology and expert people, ensuring our clients have the agility and intelligence needed to thrive in a changing world.

None of these achievements would be possible without the trust of our clients, the dedication of our team, and the support of our partners. Thank you for being part of our journey in 2025. We look forward to achieving even greater things together in the year ahead.
