Jamie became Group Managing Director in 2016, taking on responsibility for Comensura UK, Comensura Australia, and Younifi. He came to the Group MD role following seven years as MD of Comensura UK, two years as Operations Director, and the previous five in relationship management positions. This has given him a thorough understanding of the business and its customers.
During his time as UK MD, Jamie successfully increased operational efficiency and improved profitability, contributing to the business’s sound ongoing performance. He’s also played a pivotal role in developing our global strategy as the business continues to strengthen its position as a thought leader whilst adding new product lines and territories.
At home, Jamie is kept busy by his three children. He’s also a keen Everton fan.
Hoa became Comensura UK Managing Director in June 2016. Prior to her appointment, Hoa held a wide range of senior leadership roles across the Impellam Group and was the Operations Director for Comensura.
Hoa brings to the business extensive knowledge and passion in recruitment managed services having worked in the industry since 2004, directing the solution design, implementation and delivery of flagship accounts in both the UK and Australia.
As leader of Comensura’s UK brand, it is Hoa’s focus to instill her own passion to our people, ensuring we are all equally obsessive about helping our customers find smarter ways to work. This ethos has taken the business from its market leading public sector heritage to focused growth and recognition in both the private and public sectors.
When not at work, Hoa loves hiking holidays and is currently learning to garden.
Charles joined Comensura in 2009 and as Client Solutions Director has been responsible for growing our customer portfolio through the development and implementation of innovative product and service delivery solutions that compliment and support our core service offerings. Key achievements have included developing a range of services for the engagement and management of direct contractor and interim resource and unique enhancements to governance and compliance for all resourcing activities.
Prior to joining Comensura Charles gained extensive experience in both the RPO and Managed Services sectors and most recently was responsible for building and managing the customer service and business development operations for two quoted international recruitment and managed service groups where he was responsible for securing and growing a variety of outsourced recruitment solutions from organisations in both the private and public sector markets.
Outside of work Charles is a passionate Land Rover enthusiast and combines this with his love of big lake carp and predator fishing.
Jamie came to Comensura in 2010, having held senior marketing roles in other Impellam Group companies for the preceeding three years. As Strategy and Development Director, he works closely with our UK and Australia Managing Directors to define and oversee strategy and development. His role also includes overall responsibility for brand and marketing.
He has pushed forward our strategies for diversification into the private sector and growth in Australia and, as well as supporting investment in new Comensura brand Younifi (a managed service solution for the adult social care system).
Keeping a close eye on customer needs, he also introduced new technologies to enhance customer service as well as informing future c.net development.
Jamie’s earlier marketing experience comes from roles in a variety of industries including sport, leisure, and public sector and recruitment outsourcing covering aviation, financial services, manufacturing, professional services, and utilities.
He’s also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Marketing wasn’t however Jamie’s first career choice – he was once a professional footballer
Justine joined Comensura as the Finance Director in 2016. In this position, she is responsible for the leading the financial and commercial strategy of the company to achieve its challenging growth goals.
Throughout her 25-year career in senior finance roles for private and publicly listed companies, both in Australia and overseas, Justine has established a reputation for building and motivating cross functional high performing teams for generating financial and business metrics to drive fact-based strategy and execution.
Passionate that finance is more than just numbers, ensuring that the company’s people form its foundation and operate within its core values, is a critical component of her leadership ethos.
She is a member of CPA Australia. Abandoning her desire to be a ballerina as a teenager, Justine now balances her corporate life with visits to the theatre and travelling to the world’s best wine areas.
Jon originally joined Comensura in 2006 as Business Development Manager, and was a key member of the team responsible for the exponential growth of our local government business from 2006 to 2008. After a short period away from Comensura, Jon returned in 2011 as a Director with a remit to develop our private sector customer portfolio and continue to win contracts with public sector customers.
Since 2011, Jon has been responsible for Comensura winning close to 100 contracts in both the private and public sector, enabling us to penetrate a number of new markets, such as Communications/Technology Infrastructure, Rail, Manufacturing, Waste Management, Business Services and Central Government. A critical part of this success has stemmed from Jon’s ability to evolve Comensura’s traditional systems based model into new models that are able to accommodate the needs of different customer verticals. This was achieved through firstly developing a detailed understanding of market conditions, specifics associated with market verticals / customer requirements and competitor activity, secondly successfully creating the business case for major systems changes, and lastly being part of the project team responsible for the implementation of new initiatives.
Jon has also been responsible for managing customer consultancy projects and developing new products. This includes creating the business plan for our sister company Younifi.
Before joining Comensura, Jon worked for a global recruitment brand as a recruiter of Accountancy and Finance staff at both senior and management levels.
When not at work, Jon concentrates on family life, playing guitar and generally enjoying music, cooking and supporting his favourite football team.
David was appointed to Implementation and Supplier Management Director in April 2017, having worked for Comensura since 2005. Over the years, David has held a number of roles focused on customer delivery drawing heavily on supplier relations. David began his career as a Relationship Manager and most recently as Head of Implementations.
David’s operational delivery and customer focused career with Comensura was key to his appointment to oversee implementations, where he has managed the smooth operational roll-out and delivery of a significant number of key strategic customers.
David is a PRINCE2 practitioner, and outside of work keeps himself busy with his family, and a keen interest in sport and cars.
Phil joined Comensura in 2016, with a brief to support growth and develop new initiatives to help both customers and suppliers. His consultative approach and problem solving skills are proving significant assets in driving service improvements.
Phil has worked in the recruitment industry since 1999, and brings extensive experience of designing and delivering managed service solutions for volume users of non-permanent workers in PLCs, private businesses and public sector organisations. Having seen how organisations benefit from an effective and efficient temporary workforce, he is committed to helping customers better use, manage and integrate agency workers and contractors.
Outside of work, Phil is equally committed to big goals, and has run both half and full marathons.
Alexis has worked for Impellam, Comensura’s parent company for over 15 years, initially within a branch before moving to roles within Internal Recruitment, Training and Human Resources.
As a chartered FCIPD, she has gained an excellent track record for developing and nurturing the talent within Impellam and now within Comensura where she is responsible for all People & Development related activities.
Alexis and her team are passionate about ensuring everyone within Comensura is challenged to be as good as they can be and that everyone has the development opportunities they need to reach their own potential.
